i friends, today I`m sharing this beautiful eclectic apartment in New York that belongs to another talented interior designer

- called Michelle Smith. ( Do visit her website studiomrs.com, to view some gorgeous examples of her work ). I love everything about her home! There`s so many pretty treasures to take notice... but her home doesn`t feel cluttered! Which again, shows that you don`t necessarily have to have a busy room(s) to achieve the eclectic look. Another observation of mine, is regarding her living room... I admire, how carefully juxtaposed is the great mix of antiques with mid-century furniture and accessories. A great skill that not many people can achieve... but she has done it, oh so well! And the use of the sky blue vintage velvet armchairs in this room adds an unexpected pop of color. I also love the clever use of space. Who would have thought to put a shoe closet in a beautiful living room? And what`s even more surprising is that it works... so much so that I could do with having one myself! I love it! Like I said before, if you don`t have... don`t go without and improvise!

Her Style:
" She likes neutrals and she has a chic personal style.
Also, she loves using perfectly imperfect vintage accents."
