KELLY WEARSTLER

	H	i everyone, let me introduce you to the one and only KELLY WEARSTLER. (Even her surname sounds cool!) Apparently she
	started out as a playboy pin-up (I can see why... she is gorgeous)!!! She`s a mummy of two young boys and has transformed herself, into one of the most talked about and sought after interior designers worldwide! This stunning woman is absolutely my girl crush, so it`s not surprising that my first post about the interior designers that Inspire me the most, has to be Mrs. Wearstler herself! I`m such a big fan of hers and would love for her to come and decorate my home any day... which is something that I wouldn`t allow any other designer to do!!!

I love her super edgy fearless style, which is over the top and completely luxe and the fact that she loves taking risks by using a lot of funky patterns, shapes, quirky ornaments, free drawn art, any possible colour matching or contrasting and a lot of metallics! Her designs are definitely eye candy and it is always interesting to see, what she comes up with next. She truly is an inspiration to many... including moi!

 KELLY WEARSTLER DECORATING TIPS:

- Kelly says: details are everything and no detail is too small.

- "A space should tell a story".

 Do that by displaying things that are special to you. Either a souvenir, photographs or a loved object! Her favorite accents include busts of dogs, lions, horses, prints and of course, her own signature creations of amazing art...

- Mix textures and don`t be afraid to play with metals.
 Try to use a range of coppers, silver, gold or bronze.

- Choose statement pieces, from dramatic paintings, art or key pieces of furniture.

- She advises anyone to try to be brave and explore outside their comfort zone.

- Bright, bold and lacquered -  her style is less than subtle.

- She likes mixing old and new to give a room a new lease of life!

- "Living without colour is like living without love".

(Even if it means by using a pop of vibrant colour here and there.)

-She embraces sculptural pieces on all her designs - from understated figurative pieces to the lamps in a room.

- She creates high drama with -
bold geometric floors, dark walls, gold accents and plenty of reflective surfaces.

-Her goal is to always create a sense of adventure!
 And boy, she sure does it so so well!.
