M y first post after the NEW YEAR. Hello 2016! A new year, how exciting! I truly hope that you had a great time too! Ours, was fun but in a relaxed type on way, if that`s even possible. I threw a yummy buffet and we had one too many glasses of bubbly. I hope
that you too, had the best send off and let`s hope for the most fabulous with full of excitement, with great positive energy and vibe for this New Year! Today, I`ve put my Christmas decorations away and to be honest I couldn`t wait. Because when I do it so, I feel energized and very optimistic for the year ahead. Do you feel the same? Well, today on the blog, I`m sharing my January coffee table. After the over the top Christmas decorations and celebrations, you can see it here I wanted to create a calming and refreshing look
and feel for my living room. Hence the minimalist(ish) look! I still made it personal by displaying my wedding photograph (don`t judge the dress... after all it`s 18 years old)! :) Do you remember Princess Diana`s dress?... Well mine was a bit like hers, very puffy, covered head to toe with beads, lace and roses! And if it looks like I might had a little bump going on... that`s because I did! I was 5 months pregnant with my beautiful first born daughter! Anyway, candles are always a must (since the warm candlelight reflecting and bouncing around the room is just so comforting to watch). I`m hoping to use this lovely scented candle this Friday. In our home - it`s movie night, yeah, bring on the popcorn / crisps / Ben & Jerry`s ice cream and ditch the diet...
Did someone mentioned diet? What diet?
(Photo of my living room looking pared down, a calming room is undeniably appealing, after the excess of Christmas).
